“The men and women who practice the foregoing instructions will certainly get rich; and the riches they receive will be in exact proportion to the definiteness of their vision, the fixity of their purpose, the steadiness of their faith, and the depth of their gratitude”‘ – Wallace Wattles – Last paragraph of “The Science of Getting Rich”
This week we are exploring “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace Wattles, as it a current area of intense study for me. If you have not read it, I highly encourage you to do so. It is only 77 pages and might be the only book you ever need to live a life that is rich in every way. I am happy to send you a copy, just email me your request. email@example.com.
The next part of this message, is “fixity of their purpose”. Are you fixed on your purpose? Do you know what your purpose is? Wattles says that in order to change our lives, we must do things in a “Certain Way” and to do that we have to think in a certain way; he calls this sustained thinking the hardest work in the world, so hard that most men simply won’t do it. I personally don’t think it’s that hard, but you do have to intend it, and keep your gaze on your purpose and your vision, every day, on purpose.
Standing firm in the belief in TRUTH, even when appearances seem to contradict it. The truth is that there is only abundance, joy and health and this is where our attention should be. Are you fixed on your purpose? How much and how quickly your riches arrive is directly related to the clarity of your vision and the “fixity of your purpose”.
