We were all born with a guidance system; our emotions. Well meaning adults soon begin to teach us to look outside of ourselves for guidance, instead of staying in touch with our own inner knowing, so we have to re-train ourselves to tune in to how we are feeling. Our emotions are the first sign of what we are thinking.
If we’re thinking negative thoughts, we are going to be feeling negative emotions. We have the power to stop here, choose a better feeling thought, or go ahead and let the negative thought grow, attract more negative thoughts and then likely negative actions and outcomes.
Choose to own the power of your own internal guidance system. If you’re feeling negative emotions, look to your thoughts. It is never about what is happening or what someone else is doing. It is always about what we THINK about what is happening or what someone else is doing.
Today, notice how you feel and make feeling better a priority, one thought at a time.
