Love Yourself First (Day 3 of 5)
Forgiveness is an enormously beneficial life skill and self-forgiveness even more so. We all screw up. We all sometimes behave in ways that are in conflict with what we intended or planned or aspired to.
We lose our temper, or eat something we swore not to, or skip going to the gym. This is often followed by calling ourselves names, like loser or failure and then comes the throwing up our hands and giving up part. Stop that cycle.
Have a good look at the perceived mistake, see what you can learn from it, and then forgive yourself, let it go and move on! Say thanks for the lesson and start again with more information in your arsenal. Pay attention to your self-talk and never ever be unkind.
