Do You Act As The Highest Version Of Yourself?

Do You Act As The Highest Version Of Yourself?

“Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.” Og Mandino – author of “The Greatest Salesman In The World”

This week we are pondering and exploring meditation; specifically the Four Agreements, as written by Don Miguel Ruiz and taught to me by my meditation guru, davidji.  Inspired by this awesome weekend meditation.

The Fourth of the Four Agreements is:

Always Do Your Best. davidji has a wonderful meditation called DOing and BEing your best, wherein he says that between trying too hard and not trying at all is this sweet spot called doing your best. One of the core practices I teach my clients is to do what you can, with what you have, today, to take a step in the direction of your dream.

Your best will change from day to day, but if you always intend to show up wearing the best version of yourself that is available to you that day, you will live in joy and never have regrets. I heard my own coach, Rich Boggs say this in a recent coaching call.  “Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly……. at first.”  Because we get better by doing and when we always do our best, our best continues to get better!   Ask yourself, in every situation, “what would my highest self do?

Meditate on this today.  Are you trying too hard, or not trying at all? How can you enrich your everyday life by always doing your best?  What can you do today to be a better person than you were yesterday?

Take a minute, or five, or 30 today, to be still and connect with your Source and with your highest self. Learn to engage the witness part of your nature and set your intention to make the Four Agreements a part of your nature. Be impeccable with your words. Don’t take anything personally. Don’t make assumptions.  Always do your best.

You are creating your life! Choose your thoughts, your words and your actions and create a life you truly LOVE living!    Have an OUTSTANDING weekend!
