I hope by now you have learned to pay attention to what you are paying attention to; to the energy that is around you and that you are generating.
Make it a point today to be on the active lookout for ways that you can make the world better in any small way. Help someone with their groceries. Hold the door for someone. Smile at someone.
Let someone into traffic or in line in front of you. Close your eyes and feel how the energy of actively looking for ways to serve is different from a feeling of looking out for number one.
When you practice this long enough, you will start to really understand how connected we all are. How when we do something for someone else, we are doing it for ourselves too and vice versa.
Don’t give yourself a headache contemplating this, just bask in the knowledge that the smallest act of kindness can have a ripple effect that changes the world, starting with you.
